Rustic Handcrafted Custom Log Sofas & Love Seats, are made out of solid air dried pine from Ontario Canada only. Average size of corner post are 4" - 5" thick, the rest of the hand-crafted log sofa is made to fit with the 4" - 5" corner posts. 1½" and 2" tenon and mortise joints, spindles size are 2½" - 3½" thick, expansion glue on all joints, pre drilled & counter sunk pilot holes, 3" - 4" heavy duty log lag screws, counter sunk ¼", 2" x 4" spruce boards for seat support frame, logs are fitted and then refitted to the exact size. Then logs are all hand sanded with 60grit then 100grit, then your log sofa is ready for finishing, hand finishing is available!
