Rustic Handcrafted Custom Log Railings, are made out of solid air dried pine from Ontario Canada only. Average size of upright post are 4" - 5" thick, banisters 4" thick, spindles 3" - 3½" thick the rest of the hand-crafted log railing is made to fit with the 4" - 5" upright posts. 2" tenon and mortise joints, expansion glue on all joints, pre drilled & counter sunk pilot holes, 4" - 6" heavy duty log lag screws, counter sunk ¼" , logs are fitted and then refitted to the exact size. Then logs are all hand sanded with 60grit then 100grit, then your log railing is ready for finishing, hand finishing is available! Mantels are available in half log, round & squared.
